Admin Area and Tools

1. Franchisor

• The application supports multiple top level organizations, called Franchisors.
• Using the Site tool, the application provides the means to create a Franchisor site .
• The Franchisor site provides a different version of the store location tool than what is used on Market sites (if used).
• The Franchisor setup helps you generate a franchise information page, used to help promote new business

2. Franchise

• Each Franchisor can have multiple Franchisees, each managed by the franchisee themselves.
• Each Franchisee manages their own reply emails for site functions like feedback, job applications and coupon reminders.

3. Site

• The Site tool allows you to create a Franchisor/Corporate site, or a Regional/Market site.
• The Site tool manages settings like in/outgoing email address, site menu, site footer, and meta information.

4. Page

• The Page tool allows you to create predefined pages on your site, or custom pages which you define.
• Pages can be created for the Web or mobile Web site.
• The Page tool allows you to set the page name, title, keywords, description and contents.
• Currently, the page editor is not “WYSIWYG,” although we are evaluating editors which generate clean xHTML.
• Defined pages for the Web site:
  • Available Jobs – adds a page, no additional features
  • Contact Us – not available in this version
  • Feedback – adds a feedback form with locations listed
  • Home – adds a page, no additional features
  • Job Application – adds a job application with locations listed
  • Jobs – adds a page, no additional features
  • Locations – adds the store locater
  • Products – adds a product page which lists products by vendor and links to each individual product you add
  • Reminder – adds the coupon reminder service page and system

5. Region

• Regions are used on the sites to help organize locations for the location finder.
• Regions are created and assigned to sites.

6. Location

• Each location has status settings for feedback, jobs, coupons and the location itself. Turning any setting off will remove the location from the defined area of the site, or the site itself.
• A location is assigned to a Franchise and is available on one Market site and the Franchisor site if there is one.
• Location settings include address, phone and hours.

7. Vendor

• Vendors are used to organize products
• The Vendor tool includes name, description and a page body if you wish to use vendor pages.
• Vendors are managed by each Franchisor

8. Product

• The Product tool creates a product page on the site which includes the page body, name and description from the tool.
• Each product can have 1 image.
• Product images can be aligned Left or Right.

9. User

• The User tool supports the following User Types:
  • Customer – no admin site access, only for coupons
  • Staff – minimal admin site access
  • Franchise Admin – account for Franchisees
  • Franchisor Admin – account allows control over all related Franchisee accounts
• For the customer accounts, there are settings for:
  • Preferred location
  • Coupon reminder status
  • Coupon reminder frequency (wks)
  • Reminder Last Sent (date)
  • Coupon Views (qty)
• Includes a CSV export tool to search and export user data
• Admin area access - the table below shows each user type and each section of the admin each has access to.

10. Feedback

• Lists feedback posted from the site
• Supports feedback per location

• Includes a CSV export tool to search and export feedback data

11. Coupons

• Coupons are Web only and not designed for mobile use
• Each Franchise can manage their own coupons and coupon campaigns
• A Coupon consists of
  • name
  • background image
  • coupon deal
  • coupon value
  • coupon body
• Each Coupon can be used in multiple Coupon Campaigns
• A Coupon Campaign is how you make the coupon available by defining the following settings:
  • Your internal coupon code
  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Valid Days
  • View/Print Limit (unlimited or a set value)
• The application tracks the sending of coupon reminders in addition to coupon views/prints and presents the data in a chart and data table.
• Coupon stats can be viewed online or downloaded as a PDF for sending to others.

12. Jobs

• Includes a CSV export tool to search and export job application data
• Generate PDF option, to create a PDF version of a filled out application
• Email applicant link
• Applicants can apply to a primary location and select others they are interested in.

13. File

• Simple file upload tool – if the file is text based, the tool also includes a link/means to edit the file online.

14. Help

• Each tool has a help section which loads in an expandable/hidden div at the top of each page.

• Support the ability to create/run a Franchisor Site - includes modifications to store locator to offer a step before the map to help narrow down the displayed results
• Site Products - assign products to Site
• Coupon Campaign Enhancement- add locationID, to assign a coupon campaign to a specific location
• tblJobPost - add a job posting system - to list openings, integrated with the job app form. Jobs are per site and per location.

• New FWS setup fields - several new settings to customize the application and sites
